"Prestat is an elegant, original, innovative, colorful, romantic, refined and cheerful brand. All that represents the best of Britishness enclosed in every single chocolate." The Daily Mail
Prestat was founded in 1902 by Antoine Dufour, creator of the recipe for the famous chocolate truffle.
His first shop was opened in central London on South Molton Street and became a point of reference for many personalities from the world of entertainment and literature of the time. Among these the writer Roald Dahl, author of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", who paid homage to the Prestat truffle making it the "protagonist" of his novel "My Uncle Oswald".
Prestat has for many years been counted among the suppliers of the Royal House and the London nobility and, in 1975, he had the honor of receiving a Royal Warrant as a supplier of Chocolate to Her Majesty the Queen.
Its mission: spread, through chocolate, the true essence of the English lifestyle.
Its values: a long one, an original packaging, quality products.
Recipes and products inspired by the authentic traditions of each British family, an unconventional style and vibrant colors as only London can give.
A strong brand with a centuries-old tradition, but oriented towards the future: this is why since 2019, following the acquisition by Domori S.p.A., all Prestat products are with aromatic cocoa from traceable and sustainable supply chains.
