Criollo is a rare and fragile cocoa variety and represents only 0.01% of the cocoa produced in the world. The quality of this cocoa is unmatched as it lacks tannins, which give roughness and astringency to the product. The Criollo boasts a creaminess, roundness and sweetness unique in the world.

Domori has recovered this precious variety of cocoa that risked extinction, creating the largest plantation in the world in Venezuela. From this we receive the raw material that we transform every day through the shortest and purest recipe in the world.

The box contains:

  • 2 x 50g Criollo Chuao: an ancient variety of Criollo cocoa, takes its name from the plantations and in particular from the Venezuelan peninsula where it was found. The cocoa beans of this particular variety are completely white and give chocolate an incredible, all natural,  sweetness and roundness. Notes of hazelnut, dulce de leche, lucuma and mamey. 
  • 2 x 50g Criollo Guasare: a rare variety, considered the mother of all varieties of Criollo, it has been cultivated in the plantation of Domori in Venezuela since 2002. Notes of almond, caramel, ancient rose and cream.
  • 2 x 50g Criollo Porcelana: its delicate plant makes it one of the most precious cocoa in the world. Notes of hazelnut, cream, vanilla, bread crust, is naturally devoid of acidity and characterized by great sweetness and roundness, privileged characteristics of the Criollo variety.
